Our goal with this page it to provide a go-to resource with important, relevant information for our members. This includes programs you may be able to access for assistance, important headlines related to livestock and agriculture, along with industry links for additional information related to your particular state or commodity. As you know, changes are occurring rapidly with new information being presented every day.

Though we will do our best to keep this information updated and current, there may be other links, resources and articles that are in progress of being added. We appreciate your understanding as we are doing all we can to keep you updated during this crisis.

Government Assistance Programs

Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP 2)

The administration announced details of the new $14 billion Coronavirus Food Assistance Program, or CFAP 2, that will provide direct payments to farmers and ranchers to partially offset COVID-19 related losses for producers. Sign-up for CFAP 2 runs Sept. 21 through Dec. 11 through USDA’s Farm Service Agency county offices.

Economic Injury Disaster Loans

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced that agricultural businesses are now eligible for SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL).

Paycheck Protection Program (Second Draw)

he Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) provides loans to help businesses keep their workforce employed during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
